Our Revolution

Many people I have seen and spoken to ask when is the time to rise. And the only real answer is, you will know when. But the real-time for us to rise is during the Primaries and in November. If ever there was to be a Revolution like that in the late 1700's, it will be this year. Not with weapons or with violence but with a vote. A vote heard round the world.

I urge you to do what you may have never done before, research. Research the candidates, the current issues, the ideals, and the status quo. Don't take people's word for it, go and see for yourself. I do this with anyone who puts information out. There are times it can be hard but the information is out there and it is up to us to find it.

If we no longer want what DC is putting out, we have to research the candidates and find out who is closest to the founding ideals. We can no longer go blindly to the poll and vote for whose name we know or who looks the best. We have to choose who will not be a politician but who will best represent us. Not someone who will fall to special interest groups. As Ronald Reagan said, "The special interest group we should be listening to is The People."

It will be no easy task to go up against a power that has been 100 years and running. But in this 2 year period, we have given them a run for their money that they have never seen the likes of.

And now not only do they have We The People going against them, but the radicals they have been working with. The Progressives go step by step while the radicals want the full nine yards. Now the radicals are angry because they aren't getting what they were promised. "United we stand, divided we fall". We can not eat our own. We may not agree on everything but we must unite on what we do believe in.

And so, before you go to the election booth this year. Know what's going to be on that ballot. Know the issues and the candidates. And when you do, share that knowledge with your friends and other people. But urge them to go and look for themselves like you did. This year is our revolution. This year we tell DC, "DON'T TREAD ON ME".
